Leslie was born April 20, 1954 to Robert L. Cox, Jr. and Valaida A Cox, in St. Paul, MN. After attending Jr. High and High school in Minneapolis, Leslie then enrolled and finished cosmetology school. Leslie always had a love for style and flair, so she moved to Chicago Illinois to become a hair stylist. Leslie was never at a loss for words and she had a sense of humor and love for people, especially children. Her smile and laughter could fill a room. Leslie began to attend the Church of Kingdom Treasures International and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She began to develop a love and hunger for the Word of God like never before. Leslie will always be remembered for her caring and giving nature and her way of creating an extended family of people she loved.
